type: lesser-demon
data: Although they do not resemble the mythological three-headed dog, this name was chosen due to their nature as protectors of Hell. However, it’s not yet known why some stay dormant despite provocation. Despite the fact that keeping an energy orb stable takes a considerable amount of focus and effort, they seem to always keep one in hand, most likely as a display of their power to scare off intruders.
These are first introduced as a boss in 0-5 where you fight two at the same time (unless you can one shot the first one) they are slow allowing for v1 to easily close or open gaps in distance. The cerberus does have a charging attack where it leans forward and then dashes fast at V1 this can be easily dodged with a side dash. If you are hit you will fly in the direction you were hit from making it hard to regain control of the battle. Cerberus is also able to stomp on the ground that leaves a shockwave that needs to be jumped over. Cerberus will throw it's orb when V1 is far away. This can be parried or easily dodged. The orb will explode on impact so be aware of walls and enemies. The fastest way to kill a cerberus is with an SRS Cannonball these have a 200% damage it will one shot if it is parried with the Feedbacker the cannonball can be set up for a parry if it bounces up from and enemy or if grabbed with the Whiplash other ways to deal damage fast are Rockets ralcoins sawtraps and shotgun swapping
