filth tend to be spawned in large quantity. any weapon that can deal damage to more than one target will be sufficient. I.E knuckleblaster,
shotgun,
jumpcharge,
any explosive, and sawblade launcher. Don't underestimate them though. If you let them swarm you (especially on higher than standard difficulty) they will quickly overpower you, and then you will have to explain that you died to a filth on round 40 of the cyber grind
